"But, good things come to he who waits, and Torch of Rock and Roll is a testament to staying the course, being true to your dreams. It’s a blistering album, built of thunderous, fist-in-the-air, foot-on-the-monitor, epic stadium rock."
"Old-school and anthemic. Brutal and beautiful. Energetic and euphoric. Boom! Mission accomplished."

TheMightyOne was created by Tim Steinruck in 2008. In the early '90s, his former band Unchained was able to secure a potential multi-million record deal with Polygram Records, and management with Paul Stanley of Kiss. Childhood dreams come true!
The emergence of grunge purged those hair metal dreams but Tim took the golden experiences of working with Mr. Stanley and Kiss and infused them into his own brand of creativity.
In 2007 the Devin Townsend Project began rehearsing in the recording studio he had built in Vancouver, Canada. Tim had the good fortune of having Devin and the band help produce and perform tracks on the debut "The Mighty One" record.
The debut album garnered 3 chart-topping singles at North American radio and the video for "Reprieved" became a staple at Canadian video station Much Loud. The song was mixed by legendary producer/mixer/engineer Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Metallica, Poison, Whitesnake)
In 2013 the single "Waiting For You," from the sophomore release SHiFT, was purchased by the NHL and Sirius XM to promote the return of Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburg Penguins after his first concussion.
TheMightyOne relaunched in 2017 with drummer Bob Wagner, and the band's new bass player, Gustavo Valderrama. He produced a Spanish version of "Reprieved," which entered regular rotation at national radio in Colombia and was recognized as one of the top 100 rock songs of that year there.
The new album “Torch Of Rock And Roll” (March 26, 2021) sees the band taking a legacy approach to their songwriting and production. The record is a powerful snapshot of what has been, and what will be for The Mighty One.
The singles “Burden” and “Coming On” define that vision. The title track, “Torch Of Rock And Roll” is autobiographical and captures the band's philosophy and relationship with rock n' roll.
The recent release of "My Garden LIVE from the Rickshaw Theatre" celebrates their fourth Sony/Orchard released single "My Garden," and captures the energy of the band live, as they prepare to tour their live shows.
