Gary Matheny is a multi-award winning singer/songwriter from Cleveland, Tennessee with a fan base that encompasses the world. 

In 2020 his first album “Not Looking Back” was released and in 2022 his second album, “Renaissance Man” was recorded in Nashville, Tn. 

Gary’s music career began at the age of 12 years learning guitar from his best friend. After playing in a couple of garage bands he laid his music aside. In 2016, he again picked up his guitar and began writing and submitting his songs to various contests, publishers and utilizing social media to create a fan base.

He and his music has been featured in numerous digital magazines, he has been the guest on several podcasts and the awards have been numerous. His style of music has crossed over from jazz, soft rock (Yacht Rock) to traditional country and southern rock genres.

In 2022 he was awarded the Songwriter of the Year (International Singer Songwriter Association) an international grouping with over 18k members and the Most Promising Country Songwriter of the year (North American Country Music Association Int’l). His song Solo Dos Gatos won Best Song World Artist in 2021 and that same year Exit 10 received Best Modern Country Song, both World Songwriting Awards-to name a few.

Gary’s music has charted in the #1 position three separate months on Berkshire Media Groups KMIX and XR Power radio globally receiving over 50k plays, Georgia Songbirds and Top 40 Indie Country out of Nashville. 

Not Everyone Is Blessed charted #1 on Top 40 Indie Country in May 2023 and reached #45 on CashBox’s Independent Country Top 100. 

May 15, 2023 Solo dos Gatos (video) was played on DBTV.tv for four consecutive nights with a viewership of 300million globally.
