Makayla Leonard
Makayla Leonard started singing as a child. She grew up in the town of Abbotsford, British Columbia where she found her love of storytelling through Musical Theatre, blending songwriting and theatrical stories to heal herself and as a means of therapy when she was too scared to tell those who mattered to her how she was truly feeling.
Makayla likes to write songs that can fit into the indie/pop category but with a twist so her fans can connect with her music and use it to relate to their own lives and situations. Recently, Makayla participated in the competition Dare to Shine 2023 where she placed in the Top 4!
