"Springtime In Nashville" is no ordinary song; C.C. Brooks simply takes the listener on a journey to his second home in Nashville during springtime as he adopts quintessential country storytelling techniques.
His voice is warm and powerful, with an inescapable cowboy feel, and when he sings, he sings from his heart. It is so easy to escape into the storytelling here over that dazzling instrumentation.
The acoustic fingerpicking is stupendous, and the arena-rock electric guitar licks paint the edges of the mix. This track showcases C.C. Brooks' exceptional talent as a vocalist and songwriter, with vivid lyrics that paint vivid pictures in a listener's mind.
The song is catchy and infectious and really gets you heavily invested, throwing you into C.C. Brooks' beautiful world and offering you a brief escape. This is amazing because songs that let you step out of your reality and into another are something you don't come across that often, so when you get a track like this, you really soak it in!
