Glen Cain was born in West Virginia and grew up on a large cattle farm. Influenced early in life by an uncle who played guitar with Red Sovine, Jimmy Dickens, Hawkshaw Hawkins and others, he developed a love for Country Music.
While attending West Virginia University, on a football scholarship, he became the Vocalist for a Country cover band. After graduating college, and time as a Green Beret Officer in the U.S. Army,
Glen formed a band, and began playing Country Music. He was a regular on the Mountaineer Opry, and a Semi-regular on the WWVA WHEELING JAMBOREE. He opened shows for Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Ferlin Husky, Faron Young and others. He eventually met Conway Twitty and traveled with him for 3 years.
After a hiatus of several years, with help from Paula Nelson, he recorded a 5 song EP, in Austin, Texas, in 2018. All the songs charted in New Music Weekly. In September of 2019, on charts formulated in Holland, he the 11th most popular Country Music Artist in Europe.
Glen is the 2022 North American Country Music Association Male Vocalist, and you can hear "Born to Ramble" being released today on Axis Radio.

Glen is such a talented singer. Love his music.
