Glen Cain will be remembered during a Memorial concert on November 7th in Nashville and you're invited.

Nashville celebrates Glen Cain with family, friends and fans during Big Records RiseUP Legacy Tour.

American Country Music Association Male Vocalist, and Rising Star Entertainer of the Year, Glen Cain, has sadly left us but leaves us with his Legacy.

Country Music Legend, Glen Cain, was sent back to his Lord before sunrise on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 leaving behind countless fans, colleagues, friends and family members whose love for him is reflected in their mourning.

Glen was an amazing person who loved people, music and lived life to the fullest. I always enjoyed my conversations with him, and his desire to bring laughter with love. I keep him in my thoughts and know he is at peace. - Eileen Bild, Otel Universe (ROKU)

Veteran Glen Cain, born in West Virginia growing up on a cattle farm, spoke greatly of his days as a Green Beret Special Forces Officer in the U.S Army making him a resilient, caring and sincere man but never leaving behind his tongue-in-cheek humour and never intending malice on anyone. His Uncle, being his greatest music influence and mentor, playing alongside Red Sovine, Jimmy Dickens, Hawkshaw Hawkins and other greats, encouraged Cain to follow his path in the music industry.

Music was not only Cain’s love as he pursued a football scholarship at the University of West Virginia but of course music was never forgotten and he was quickly recruited as a vocalist for a Country Cover band.

After graduating, he enlisted to proudly serve his country before Country turned him into the Legend that we know of him today. Cain quickly gained traction on TV Shows such as the Mountaineer Opry and the WWVA WHEELING JAMBOREE where he performed as a regularly invited Guest Artist. He was not shy from being on stage, contributing as an opening act to Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Ferlin Husky and Faron Young to mention a few.

After meeting Conway Twitty, Cain’s career took a different wave.

Cain was offered to tour with Twitty which contributed to 3 years of his fondest memories in his music career. Life took Cain in many different directions but after a fated telephone call to a radio station one day in 2018, Paula Nelson (Willie Nelson’s Daughter) picked up the phone and quickly encouraged him out of retirement, sending him to an Austin, Texas recording studio where he launched a 5 song EP which included his award winning single ‘Hold Back The Dawn’.

Hold Back The Dawn - Glen Cain (October 26, 2018)

We lost a country legend and personal friend Glen Cain. I had the pleasure of releasing several of his singles on Star 1 Records. He rose to the Top 10 on the Country Indie Charts, and I feel honored to have played a small part in his success. Glen was a wonderful, funny and talented man with a heart the size of Texas. He will be greatly missed by all. RIP Glen. - Marie Patterson

After this musical return, he was once again embraced by his peers reclaiming his status in the Country Music Industry. All songs charted in New Music Weekly and in September 2019, Cain was honored in Holland as the 11th most popular Country Music Artist in Europe.

In February 2022, Cain was signed to the hybrid Canadian Label BigRecords.World and quickly won their hearts becoming their Country Music Division Executive, enriching their personal lives, the lives of their Artists and that of their business.

This coming November, RiseUPTV, in support of the Friends of the Keith Whitley Corporation, featuring 7 amazing Artists, will celebrate Cain`s legacy over a period of 5 dates starting in Nashville,, Tennessee and ending in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Glen Cain made an impact on my life from our first phone call. I wanted to help him in any way I could. He has an amazing pedigree in music and in life skills. He was an example to me of how we need to treat people and that everyone mattered and was special. This led to working very close on many projects and along the way, he was there for me personally and professionally anytime of day or night. It is tough to let Glen go and God's plan is always perfect. But….I will miss you my friend and always try my best to emulate your spirit and values. Until we meet again. - Mark Rosner, Founder and CEO, Big Records

I will miss this man calling me kid or sunshine, which he probably did for a lot of people. He gave me stories about family I didn't grow up with or even knew. He told me stories about his children and his family … he loved them beyond anything they could imagine. And, he told me about all his country music family. - Kelli Jones, Founder, Director, CEO, Franklin Jones Healing Arts Foundation
Glen Cain was a real leader, a great mentor and fabulous friend. … His sense of humor could bridge any ill feelings and mend all broken bridges. His voice was golden, velvet, and traditional country just like Glen the man, traditional, humble down to earth, witty and unforgettable. … He'd say “music heals the soul, bridges all social classes and provides freedom to be who we are meant to be”. Glen lives on in all our memories and though his time here with some of us was very short, his impact on our lives was profound. …- Tara Kye, Friend, Singer/Songwriter, Big Records.World
